How to Prevent the Fujifilm X100VI’s Digital Teleconverter from Accidentally Engaging

When I was first out shooting with my Fujifilm X100VI, I kept finding that I was accidentally changing the digital teleconverter. You'll know if you've done that if the viewfinder and back screen will only show you a part of the scene, as though you've somehow zoomed in. It was pretty frustrating, and it wasn't clear what I'd done or how to fix it. But here's the solution.
